Gothia Towers wins eco-friendly Platinum Certification

Gothia Towers has achieved Platinum – the highest level – in the TripAdvisor GreenLeaders Programme. The GreenLeaders Programme helps travellers all over the world make their journeys more environmentally friendly by highlighting hotels that implement green practices.

To be included in the TripAdvisor GreenLeaders Programme, businesses must achieve a number of environmental standards. The more green practices a business implements, the higher the status it is given. The levels are bronze, silver, gold and platinum.
“We are proud and absolutely delighted to have been given the accolade of TripAdvisor’s Platinum status. Currently only six hotels in Sweden have it. Enabling all environmentally aware travellers to search for GreenLeader hotels among the thousands of hotels available is an excellent service. We also focus strongly on Sustainability, so this is very important to us,” says Elisabeth Thomson, Hotel Director at Gothia Towers.

Travellers can search for businesses that have been approved as a GreenLeader on TripAdvisor’s website, and see a detailed list of the environmentally friendly methods that each business uses.
