Icon Bryan Ferry, who has earned his place in music history over the past thirty years thanks to Roxy Music and his successful solo career, is coming to Gothenburg on 3 May for a concert at The Theatre – Gothia Towers!

Ferry is perhaps best known from his time as indisputable frontman of Roxy Music and their quartet of albums comprising “Roxy Music”, “For Your Pleasure”, “Stranded” and “Country Life”, which were pioneering works on the British glam and art rock scene. Nevertheless Ferry pursued a solo career in parallel with Roxy Music’s success, and his début “These Foolish Things” marked the start of a successful career that continues to this day. His critically-praised latest album “Avonmore” has been described as his best album in 30 years.

Ferry has visited Sweden regularly in recent years, always delivering critically-acclaimed and sold-out concerts. His concerts this year have also received praise from critics, with the British Mail on Sunday giving 5/5 and noting “Ferry has style, as everybody says, but also soul and subtlety and stamina. Maybe this man is worth more than a CBE”. The Independent gave 4/5, with the comment “simply thrilling”.

He comes to Gothenburg this time not only with a fantastic new album in his arsenal, but also Swede Nea Nelson as support. Nea will be releasing her début-EP in March 2016.

Bryan Ferry is coming to The Theatre – Gothia Towers this spring and promises a mix of both new and classic tracks. Don’t miss it!
