House Rules
The safety and security of our guests and staff is our highest priority.
Below you will find a number of rules and safety regulations that apply to all guests.
This list is not exhaustive, and we may take additional measures if required to ensure the safety and well-being of everyone at the hotel.
General Rules
- Age limit: Guests must be at least 18 years old to stay at our hotels. Minors may only stay when accompanied by a legal guardian.
- Identification: All guests must present valid identification at check-in (children travelling with a guardian are exempt). Guests who are not registered residents in Sweden are also required by law to complete a registration form.
- Respect: We expect all guests to treat our staff and other guests with courtesy and respect. Threats or harassment will not be tolerated.
- Police reports: Any crimes committed on the premises will be reported to the police.
- Disturbances: We reserve the right to deny entry or remove guests who are under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or who otherwise pose a safety risk or cause disturbances. Guests who have been denied entry or asked to leave are not entitled to any compensation or refund.
- Alcohol consumption: Alcohol brought onto the premises may only be consumed in guest rooms, not in common areas.
- Visitors: After 22:00, it is not permitted to bring persons into guest rooms who are not registered guests of the hotel.
- Noise levels: Please keep noise at a reasonable level in your room. After 22:00, silence must be observed in rooms and corridors to ensure a peaceful stay for all guests.
- Open flames: Candles, incense, electric hobs, gas stoves or similar items must not be used in guest rooms.
- Electrical devices: For safety reasons, it is prohibited to charge items such as hoverboards, e-bikes, e-scooters, drones, or similar equipment on the premises. Always unplug chargers for personal electronic devices (e.g. mobile phones, laptops) when leaving the room.
- Weapons: Weapons are not permitted. If you hold a hunting license and need to bring your firearm, please contact reception in advance.
- IT security: Use of our network for illegal activities or in any way that compromises IT security is strictly prohibited.
Compensation and Charges
As the registered guest, you are responsible for any costs or damage caused to the hotel or third parties during your stay.
You are also liable for any fixtures or furnishings that are damaged or removed without permission from guest rooms or other hotel areas.
Specific Fees
- Smoking: Smoking is prohibited in guest rooms, throughout the hotel premises, and at the entrances (as required by law). This applies to cigarettes, e-cigarettes, and similar products. A fee of SEK 2,500 will be charged for violations.
- Smoke detectors: It is strictly forbidden to cover, remove, or otherwise disable smoke detectors. Violation will result in a charge of SEK 2,500.
- False fire alarms: If a fire alarm is triggered deliberately or through negligence, resulting in emergency services attending, the guest will be charged the call-out cost of approximately SEK 10,000.
- Waste: Only household waste from a normal hotel stay may be left behind. Large items or hazardous waste, such as gas canisters or large batteries, are not permitted. A fee of SEK 500 will be charged for the disposal of bulky or hazardous waste (e.g. nitrous oxide canisters).
- Cleaning/Sanitation: If the room is left in a condition requiring deep cleaning or sanitation, a fee of SEK 2,500 will be charged, or the actual cost of cleaning if higher.
- Nitrous oxide: The use of nitrous oxide is not permitted in guest rooms or public areas. As nitrous oxide cartridges are considered hazardous waste, a fee of SEK 500 will be charged if any are left behind.
Violations
Guests who break these house rules, fail to pay for their stay, or cause damage may be refused continued accommodation and future bookings at our hotels.
