Your stay

When can I check into the hotel?

Check-in is from 15.00. If you arrive earlier, you can store your luggage in the hotel’s luggage room until your room is ready. Please bring a valid form of national ID or your passport to show the reception staff on check-in.

When must I check out of the hotel?

You must vacate your room by 11.00 at the latest.

Am I required to present an ID to stay at your hotel?

All guests checking in at the hotel must present a valid ID and a valid payment card. Guests under the age of 18, traveling with a guardian, do not need to show an ID.

How old do I have to be to stay at the hotel?

You must be at least 18 years old to check in at Gothia Towers. Guests staying in any of our suites must be at least 25 years of age (except for children accompanied by a parent or guardian).

Can I pay with cash at Gothia Towers?

No, From 1 June 2021, we will be a cash-free facility, this applies to all businesses such as hotels, restaurants and spas.

Can pets stay at the hotel?

We only have a few rooms in which dogs can stay (max. 3 dogs per room). To book one of these rooms, please call or e-mail the hotel booking team direct: [email protected].

Which room category should I book if I want to stay on a high floor?

Our Premium Sky rooms and suites are located on the higher floors of the hotel. In these rooms, you will always stay on the 16th floor or higher, with a fantastic view and breakfast on the 29th floor.

Can I borrow a crib at the hotel?

We have cribs available for you to borrow during your stay with us. These can be booked through our reservations department. Phone: 031 – 750 88 10 Email: [email protected].

Am I allowed to bring a travel crib?

No, we do not allow guests to bring their own travel crib due to safety concerns in case of fire or evacuation. However, you can always borrow a crib from us. These can be booked through our reservations department. Phone: 031 – 750 88 10 Email: [email protected].

Can I smoke at the hotel?

Gothia Towers is a smoke-free hotel and as such, smoking indoors is absolutely forbidden. E-cigaretts are also forbidden.

What is the maximum room occupancy?

For safety reasons, a maximum of three people, plus one child up to 6 years of age, can stay in our rooms.

I suffer from allergies and need an allergy-friendly room. Can you help with this?

Yes, we have a few rooms that may be suitable. These rooms need to be booked over the phone, so please call, +46 (0)31–750 88 10.

Child policy & family rooms

One child up to 6 years of age may share the parents’ bed at no extra cost. We also have rooms with an extra bed for 1 child up to 12 years of age for SEK 100/night. Some rooms also have a sofa bed (140 cm) for up to 2 children (max. 12 years) for SEK 100/night/child.

How do I book a connecting room?

What parking options are available?

During your stay at Gothia Towers you can choose from a number of convenient parking options. All our parking options are extremely popular, so to guarantee a parking space for your car, you will need to pre-book parking. Find out more about our various parking options here

Is it possible to park earlier?

We offer early parking, earlier than stated in the confirmation, subject to availability. For this reason, we cannot guarantee early parking before your arrival at the hotel. Instead, we kindly ask you to visit Guest Service, located next to the reception, to check if a parking space is available earlier.

I haven’t received a booking confirmation. What should I do?

Contact the hotel on telephone +46 (0)31-750 88 10 or email [email protected], and we will send you a manual confirmation. If you do not have a booking confirmation when you arrive, you can check in using your name.

How can I amend/cancel/check my booking?

– If you have booked direct with us and have your booking reference number to hand, you can view your details here – If you have booked over the phone and do not have a booking confirmation, you will need to contact us on telephone +46 (0)31-750 88 10 or email [email protected]. If you have booked a room here through an online travel site/agent (e.g. booking.com or hotels.com), you will need to contact the site/agent.

Can I make a booking via the website without entering my credit card details?

All bookings made via the website must be guaranteed with a valid credit card number. You will then pay at the hotel, unless otherwise stated.

How can I book a room using a gift card?

If you have a gift card or a voucher, you can book direct by telephone or e-mail.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations can be made until 11:00 am on the day of arrival, unless special conditions apply according to the booking. If the room is cancelled later or in case of a no-show, the cost of one night, including taxes, will be charged.

I have to leave the hotel before breakfast opens, is it possible to get something before I go?

Absolutely. We serve a simpler Express breakfast in Bryggan, right next to the Seasons breakfast restaurant, from 04.30 to 07.00.

Do you offer breakfast options for allergy sufferers?

Yes, we have a wide range of breakfast options, including gluten-free and lactose-free alternatives.

How old do I have to be to work out at the gym?

To use the hotel’s gym, you must be 18 years old (without a guardian) or at least 13 years old when accompanied by a guardian.

Is there a pool at the hotel?

Unfortunately, there is currently no pool at the Gothia Towers hotel. Perhaps you have seen the protruding pool on the outside of our central tower? This belongs to Upper House Spa and is part of our five-star sister hotel Upper House. As a hotel guest at Gothia Towers you receive a 20% discount on spa entry.
